Gather first

• An empty plastic bottle · 1 small one (16 oz)
• A baking tray or big plate · to catch the foam
• Hydrogen peroxide, 3% only (the drugstore kind) · 1/2 cup
• Dish soap · a big squirt
• Food colouring · a few drops
• A packet of dry yeast · 1 packet (about 1 tablespoon)
• 🚰 Warm water · 3 tablespoons
• A measuring cup
• A spoon · for stirring
• A sponge or cloth, for wiping up

The big idea: Yeast splits peroxide into water and oxygen super fast, and soap catches the oxygen as foam.
