Gather first

• Dry-erase markers (fresh ones work best) · 1 or 2, dark colours
• A smooth, shiny plate (china or glass, not paper)
• A measuring cup · of room-temperature water

The big idea: Dry-erase ink doesn't stick, and it's lighter than water, so a drawing can float away.
