Gather first

• Cardboard tubes · 1
• 2 AA batteries in a holder with wires
• A small LED light · 1 white one
• Foil · a strip
• Paper fasteners (brads) · 2
• 🖇️ Paper clips · 1
• Index cards · 1, or thin cardboard
• A pencil
• ✂️ Kid scissors
• 🩹 Tape

The big idea: A switch is a gap in the loop that you can open and close.
