• ⚗️ Careful liquid! A grown-up pours this part. Keep it out of eyes and mouths.
• 🚫 Not food! Never taste it, and wash your hands when you're done.

Gather first

• A bottle of white school glue · 1/2 cup (a 4 oz bottle)
• Baking soda · 1/2 tablespoon
• Food colouring · a few drops
• Contact lens saline (it lists boric acid and sodium borate) · 1 tablespoon, maybe a little more
• A big bowl
• A spoon · and a tablespoon to measure

The big idea: The activator links glue's long chains into a net, so runny glue turns into stretchy slime.
