Trick-or-Treat Street
Trick-or-Treat Street is a Halloween game in three parts. First the child gets ready at home (a costume, face paint rather than a mask, something that glows, a flashlight, a snack first, and a grown-up to walk with). Then they walk a whole neighborhood with a map, choosing which way to go at each corner, hopping puddles and ducking branches, stopping at crosswalks to look both ways, and knocking on every door with its light on to answer a question (three big answers to tap) for candy; a wrong answer just gets a friendly ghost's โBoo!โ. Back home they count the candy in tens, sort it, make a bar graph and play candy games: unwrapping, fair shares and trading. It practises counting, sums, sharing and reading at the child's own level.
Also try: Color Block, Rocket Number Blast, Peabody Rush.
For grown-ups: Peabody has no ads, not one, and nothing to sell your child. See what other free kids' sites load
Get ready at home, then walk the whole neighborhood with your map. Knock on every door with its light on and answer for candy, and the Big House gives a full-size treat for three right in a row. Back home, count, sort and play with your candy!
