A Boo for Bea

Part One 路 The Red Bib

Max had a baby sister. Her name was Bea.

Bea was sad. She cried and cried.

Dad was making soup. "Can you help, Max?"

Max shook the rattle. Bea still cried.

Max sang a song. Bea cried more.

Max sat down to think.

He got the big red bib.

He hid his face. "Where is Max?"

"Boo!" said Max. Bea went still.

Her mouth went wide. Then she laughed.

Max did it again. Bea laughed again.

Her feet kicked. Her hands clapped.

Dad came in. "What is so funny?"

Max hid his face. "Boo!" Dad laughed too.
