Meg plants a small brown seed and waits, and waits, and nothing comes up. She almost digs it out to look, but she gives it a few more days, and a green tip pokes through the dirt.
Meg has a seed.
It is small and brown.
She digs. In it goes.
Pat, pat. Dirt on top.
Meg waits and waits.
Day one. Day two. Day three.
Still no plant.
Meg wants to dig it up.
No. She will wait.
Rain comes. Sun comes.
Day six. A green tip!
"Hi, plant!" said Meg.
