Dot and the Log
Part One 路 The Log
Dot was a little duck on a pond.
A big log lay in the sun.
Three big ducks sat on it.
Dot wanted to sit there too.
He swam up. He gave a hop.
He slipped. Plop! Back in the pond.
He hopped again. Plop!
Dot was wet. Dot was mad.
Then he saw the far end.
It was low. It dipped into the pond.
Dot swam to the low end.
He walked up. No hop at all.
Now Dot sat in the warm sun too.
His feet went drip, drip, drip.
