FlipaClip

By Visual Blasters LLC. Visit FlipaClip

Desk research from the maker's own pages. Not yet tried by us. Checked 2026-10-24.

A frame-by-frame drawing animation app for phones and tablets. Kids draw a picture, add a new frame, change the drawing a little, and play it back like a flipbook, with layers, onion skin, sound and a timeline. It has a large young community, contests, an ambassador program and a Discord server. The free version shows ads; FlipaClip Plus removes limits.

Our take: Good for tweens and teens who want to animate drawings on a phone; parents of younger kids may prefer an ad-free paid app like Procreate Dreams.
