Grok

Warning: read this before you buy or sign up. Checked 2026-10-24.

Warning: Grok is the chatbot from SpaceXAI, the company formerly called xAI, built into X (Twitter) and its own apps. It chats by text and voice, makes images and video, and offers AI companions and several modes, including a Kids Mode. Its own terms warn that depending on features and prompts it may produce coarse language, crude humor or sexual situations. Common Sense Media rated it unacceptable for teens after deepfake and sexual-image controversies, including images of minors.

Our take: Skip for children and teens; there are safer chatbots for every task it does.
