25 best educational podcasts for kids

Podcasts are screen-free learning that fits in the car, at bedtime or while drawing. The best ones for kids are funny, answer real questions and leave room for a conversation afterward. This list covers science, history, money, ethics, news and stories, from preschool to teens. Look for shows with a kid's voice in them, clear sourcing for facts, and few ads. Most of these are free on any podcast app; search the name in Apple Podcasts, Spotify or your library app.

We picked shows with a track record of quality and checked in October 2026 that each has a working home page. Some shows have ended and live on as archives, which is fine: old episodes still hold up. Checked 2026-10-24. Nobody paid to be here and nothing is an affiliate link.
