โœจ Which star pattern is this?

๐Ÿฆ‰ Peabody draws a star pattern, dot by dot, the way the stars really sit. Which one is it? Look for the shape first: a ladle, a W, three stars in a row.

Peabody is getting the questions readyโ€ฆ

The answers, and why

  1. Which star pattern is this? (Pattern 1) The Big Dipper. The Big Dipper: Seven stars in a ladle. The two at the end of the bowl point to the North Star.

  4. Which star pattern is this? (Pattern 4) The Summer Triangle. The Summer Triangle: Three bright stars from three different constellations, in a big triangle. Vega is the brightest.

  9. Which star pattern is this? (Pattern 9) The Teapot. The Teapot: Eight stars in the shape of a teapot, low in the south, with its spout on the right (west), its lid on top and its handle on the left.
  10. Which star pattern is this? (Pattern 10) The Northern Crown. The Northern Crown: A small half-circle of seven stars, like a crown or a bowl, with one brighter star, Alphecca. It sits about a third of the way from Arcturus to Vega.
