For grown-ups

Two minutes is the brushing time dentists usually give children, and it feels long at the sink. Here a rocket burns its fuel while your child brushes and lifts off at the end, so they can see how much is left without reading a clock.

Tips for grown-ups

  • Prop the phone or tablet by the sink. The screen stays awake while the timer runs.
  • Split the mouth into four parts: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right. That is about 30 seconds each, or two of the rocket's fuel cells, and Peabody calls out each new side.
  • Let your child press Start. Owning the button is half the fun.
  • Turn on Peabody counts and he says the last ten seconds out loud, which is a good moment for the back teeth.
  • For two children at one sink, choose Take turns, pick two animals and the timer hands over by itself.

Questions

Is two minutes right for my child?

Two minutes, twice a day, is the length dentists commonly recommend. If your dentist has said something different for your child, set that length with the − and + buttons; the rocket fits any length.

Will the screen turn off halfway through?

No, on most phones and tablets. While the timer runs the page asks the browser to keep the screen awake, and it lets go when the timer stops.

Does it work without the internet?

Once the page has loaded, yes. The pictures and the sounds are made in the browser, so nothing needs to download while your child brushes.

Is it free?

Yes. There are no ads, no sign-up and nothing to download.

For grown-ups: Peabody has no ads, not one, and nothing to sell your child. The Kids Pick, an independent kids' directory, rates its games 90/100. See what other free kids' sites load · Grown-ups, sign in · Already have a profile?
